Cuban tattoo artist fined for overstaying permit

A Cuban tattoo artist who exceeded his one-month stay permit, was on Friday fined, after pleading guilty to the offence in a city court.

Having been permitted to stay in Guyana for a month after his arrival on November 14, 2018, it was alleged that Hunyarys Lazaro Delgada Reygaga, 39, exceeded his one-month stay, from December 14, 2018, to January 17, 2019, in Georgetown Guyana. The charge was read to him by Magistrate Leron Daly.

According to Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh, on January 17, the date Reygaga was arrested, he was at the United States Embassy behaving in a disorderly manner.
