A seven-year-old is currently battling for his life at the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was involved in an accident in Albouystown.
Stabroek News was told that Emmanuel Fletchman was riding a bicycle with 8-year-old Jayden Primo when a motorcycle rode into them on James Street, Albouystown. The accident occurred at around 4.30 yesterday afternoon.
They both fell of the bicycle and were picked up and rushed to the hospital where Fletchman was admitted in an unconscious state. Primo was treated for the minor injuries he sustained and discharged.
The rider of the motorcycle failed to stop following the accident and fled the scene.
