Western diplomats meet GECOM

Amid continuing controversy over preparations for general elections, Western diplomats today met with the Guyana Elections Commission at its Kingston headquarters.

The meeting was held at 10 am in the GECOM boardroom at the request of the diplomatic delegation.

The diplomats from the United States, Britain, Canada and the European Union did not speak to the media following the meeting.
