The police today said that John Lambert, 24, a former soldier, of Lot 158 North Haslington ECD who was convicted and jailed for four years escaped at about 3:39 am today from the Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
No other information was provided. The Lusignan Prison has been the scene of multiple escapes and unrest over the last several years.
