West Berbice man dies in Blairmont collision

A West Coast Berbice motorcyclist succumbed last evening after he crashed into the side of a car at Blairmont Village, West Bank Berbice.

Dead is Tyrone Kishore, also known as, ‘Wildy,’ 34, of Lot 140 Plantation Hope, West Coast Berbice, who was thrown into a nearby canal as a result of the force of the impact.

His pillion rider was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital, where she remained a patient up to last evening.

According to information gathered, Kishore, who is the owner of a taxi service, was riding was CBR motorcycle, bearing licence plate CH 6922, out of Blairmont Settlement when he reportedly slammed into the car, HC 4204.

Stabroek News was told that the car was being driven by a D’ Edward Village, West Bank Berbice resident, who had two passengers in the vehicle, at the time.

Kishore, who was allegedly travelling at a fast rate, slammed into the side of the car, after which he landed in a nearby canal.

Kishore was pulled from the canal and rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital, where he succumbed.
