Anandale wins KFC Secondary Schools tapeball competition

Annandale Secondary won the KFC Secondary School tapeball competition after defeating Patentia Secondary on Saturday at the Durban Park Tarmac, Homestretch Avenue.

Annandale prevailed over their Region #3 counterparts in a six-over thriller earning the KFC trophy and medals in the process.

Chanderpaul Ramraj of Annandale, Ganesh Persaud of Patentia and Ryan Wong of La Bonne Intention [LBI] were presented with prizes for their outstanding performances.

In the semi-final matches, Annandale defeated LBI, while Patentia downed Hope Secon-dary. A total of 18 schools participated in the tournament.
