Accused Bartica housebreaker gets bail

Bail was yesterday granted to a 31-year-old man, who is accused of stealing over $100,000 from the home of a Bartica resident.

Seon Williams denied the charge, which was read by acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in Georgetown.

The charge alleged that on the April 12th, at Second Avenue, Bartica, Williams broke and entered the dwelling house of Kelvin Hopkinson and stole $150,000.

With no objections by Prosecutor Adduni Inniss, Williams was granted bail in the sum of $100,000 and the matter was adjourned until April 24th, 2019, at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court.
