The Guyana Police Force has reported the arrest of six men and the discovery of a number of suspected stolen items following an intelligence-led operation conducted by ranks of ‘B’ Division in Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam.

According to the police, two of the suspects have since admitted to robbing a housewife in the area, as well as five other armed robberies.

The eight-hour-long raid was carried out on Thursday.  

The police are continuing the investigation into the robberies in hopes of charging the suspects early next week.
