The police are investigating the murder of a porter, who was fatally beaten at Kumaka, in Region One, last night.
Oswald Henry, also known as ‘Muff’, was reportedly drinking at a bar around 9.30 last night when he got into a heated argument with a 22-year-old man.
While the full details of the altercation were not available up to press time, this newspaper was told that the suspect armed himself with a piece of wood and hit Henry several times in his head before escaping.
Henry was rushed to the Kumaka District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The police were last night still searching for the suspect.
