Jamaica: Twin toddlers perish in fire that leaves 21 homeless

(Jamaica Observer) Two-year-old twin girls Naieelia and Nihailia Pinnock perished last night in a blaze in the Grants Pen, St Andrew.

The girls were reportedly left in the care of their grandmother, whose whereabouts is currently unknown.

When OBSERVER ONLINE visited the scene, the 22-year-old mother of the girls, Osheen Rogers, wept openly at her loss.

Details surrounding the incident are sketchy at this time.

Twenty-one people, including 13 children, have been left homeless as a result of the fire.
