Jamaica: Search on for missing teacher

(Jamaica Observer) THE police yesterday appealed to the public for information that can assist them in locating St Andrew teacher Samuel Martin.

Martin, 41, of Waterloo Close, Kingston 10, has been missing since Friday, April 18.

Police said an investigation has been ongoing since the report was made to the Matilda’s Corner Police Station on Saturday. However, investigators are now seeking the public’s assistance to unearth any new leads in the case.

Martin is of dark complexion, medium build, and is about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) tall.

According to the Matilda’s Corner police, Martin was last seen last Friday at about 6:30 pm in Mandeville, Manchester, dressed in a navy blue shirt and black shorts. He has not been heard from since. Efforts to contact him have proven futile.

The police have asked anyone with information or knowing the whereabouts of the missing teacher to contact the Matilda’s Corner Police Station at 876-978-6003, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
