(Trinidad Express) A POLICE officer was robbed of his vehicle on Thursday.
The thieves rear-ended his Mazda BT 50 pick-up truck in Golconda.
At around 6 p.m. the 32 year old constable was headed north along M2 Ring Road, Golconda when his vehicle was rear-ended by a white Nissan B15.
When he stopped the van and came out to investigate, an occupant of the car alighted from the front passenger seat abd pointed a firearm at him.
The assailant demanded the keys to his vehicle and the police officer handed them over.
The constable reported the incident to the San Fernando CID and Cpl Emrith is investigating.
