(Trinidad Express) Relatives of 17-year-old Shania Ramjitsingh are pleading for the public’s assistance in finding her.

Shania, of Dyer’s Village, Hardbargain, Princes Town was last seen by her family at their home around 11 p.m. last Saturday (March 9).

She was wearing a T-shirt and long pants.

Mother Luciana Dhanraj said her daughter, who was staying with her ex-husband and his family, was discovered missing on Sunday when a younger sibling went to her room and realised she was not there.

“My husband and I separated and she was staying with him and his parents. He said that she was at home and he got up early the next day to go to work. They just though she was sleeping late but then another daughter went to wake her and they didn’t find her,” said Dhanraj.

A report was made to the Princes Town Police Station .

“She is a very quiet person and doesn’t have many friends. We searching all over for her and working with the police to find her. She wrote CXC last year and was going lessons but then she got sick and stopped. This is the first time she is missing. We just want her back home safe,” she said.
