Dear Editor,
I receive public officers’ pension. Every three months, I go with my ID to the Ministry of Finance on Main Street for an update. A life certificate is only needed if I cannot present myself.
My suggestion is that NIS have a similar system, where NIS/ID cards are utilised, and life certificates required only in the pensioner’s absence.
Finding the relevant person to sign a life certificate is a bother.
