Whether it was a direct result of my letter to your newspaper (January 09, 2019) headlined “these two stretches of pavements at the stadium require work”, or a mere coincidence, I am happy to state that corrective action has been taken on issues/concerns (which were) highlighted.
I will therefore like to express my gratitude, not only to the “relevant authorities” for their timely intervention, but also to your newspaper for publishing my letter.
