I have read that the police went to question the Opposition Leader about his exhortations some time at Babu Jaan to PPP supporters to “run” government ministers at a time when he regarded the government as illegal. It has not been disclosed in the media who are the complainants against him.
I would like to ask the police if they ever questioned Jermaine Figueira about his assault of Charrandass Persaud in Parliament on December 21, 2018. He was captured on video repeatedly elbowing Persaud in his side. If the police want to preserve their credibility they need to explain this double standard.
