Adams scores ton as Everest thrash Diplomats

Century maker Dwayne Adams acknowledges the applause of the spectators in the Pavilion after scoring 128 for Everest on Sunday.

A brutal century from Everest Cricket Club’s Dwayne Adams helped plunge Diplomats to a 145-run defeat on Sunday in the Georgetown Cricket Association/New Building Society’s second division 40-overs tournament at Everest, Camp Road.

Despite sudden showers dampening cricket throughout the coastland, Everest was in top form as they took first strike, piling up 263-2 in their 40 overs.

They then restricted Diplomats to 145 all out in 31 overs.
