Flying Ace CC rewards outstanding cyclists

Several outstanding performers of the Flying Ace Cycle Club’s ‘Track Attack’ were on Monday rewarded for their achievements by representatives of Banks DIH’s Rainforest Waters Brand. 

The representatives stayed true to their word and awarded the winners of the event which was held on November 18, last year. 

The ceremony was held at Banks DIH Limited Berbice Branch office at Main Street,  New Amsterdam. Sales Supervisor Fawaaz Harry, who handed over the cheque to the club’s champion rider, Balram Narine, spoke of the importance of supporting various sports disciplines and giving encouragement to youths.

Nandram Basdeo, Sales Supervisor spoke of Banks DIH’s commitment to developing Guyana’s most valuable resource: its human resource and pledged the company’s support to future sporting activities with the Flying Ace Cycle Club.

Coach Randolph Roberts, organizer of the race expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Banks DIH and urged other businesses to come on board and support sport and youth development in the Ancient County.
