The first round of the Guyana Cricket Board 50 overs senior female Inter-County tournament was washed out yesterday.
Defending champions, Berbice, were expected to take on Essequibo at Lusignan, East Coast Demerara while at Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), Guyana Cricket Board Select Under-19 were booked against Demerara but persistent rains had the final say.
Today, Berbice will battle the Select U19s at GCC while Demerara will take on Essequibo from 09.30hrs.
