An exciting evening of Squash yesterday at the Georgetown Club Squash Court, saw the semi-finalists of this year’s Guyana Squash Association (GSA) Annual Bounty Farm Handicap Tournament being decided.
First to register spots in the semis were the sensational duo of Abosaide Cadogan and Kirsten Gomes who registered contrasting category ‘A’ triumphs.
Cadogan, in her quarter final match, defeated Lajuan Munroe 15-11, 15-13 while Gomes (-1) nudged her way past Lucas Jonas 2-1 in a much tougher encounter. Gomes took the first 15-12 before Jonas manufactured a 15-4 second set win.
