The Mambo Sports Bar Domino Competition, will officially commence today from 14:00hrs at the entity’s Barr Street location.
The tournament will feature 18 teams competing for over $300,000 in prizes. Winner of the event will pocket $150,000 and a trophy, with the second and third place finisher copping $75,000 and $45,000 apiece and the corresponding trophy. Entrance fee per team is $12,000.
Tournament coordinator Mark Wiltshire disclosed that the tournament will utilize the Guyana National Domino Association rules, with the format to be used being 4 games, 6 sittings with a 2 in 1 out system. Sponsors of the event include F&H Printery and Jumbo Jet.
