Pepsi Hikers yesterday registered two additional wins in this year’s Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) first-division outdoor league at the St. Stanislaus College ground.

The defending champions remained unbeaten after thrashing St Stanislaus and GCC Vintage by 6-0 and 3-0 margins respectively.

Aroydy Branford, in the first contest, continued his goal-scoring prowess by netting a hat trick in the 6-0 win over Saints while Devon Munroe – who scored the opening goal – Jamarj Assanah and Randy Hope converted the other strikes.

The win over GCC Vintage, on the other hand, was set up by two goals off the stick of Assanah while the prolific Branford netted the other to complete the 3-0 win.

The other contest on the day saw Supernova defeating Old Fort 2-0 with goals from Meshach Sargeant and Steffon Simmons separating the two teams.

The league continues today with the females swinging into action.
