Wiltshire, Cadogan record back-to-back wins

Top junior national players Shomari Wiltshire and Abosaide Cadogan recorded back-to-back wins in this year’s Toucan Distributors Junior Skill Level squash tournament after notching wins last evening at the Georgetown Club, Camp Street.

Wiltshire, playing his second match of the tournament in Category A, defeated Gianni Carpenter 11-4, 11-2, 11-2 to move to two wins in as many matches.

The other major Category A win went to Samuel Ince-Carvalhal, who had the better of Michael Alphonso 12-10, 11-9, 8-11, 9-11, 11-9 in a tense encounter. 

Meanwhile, Cadogan had her way against Lucas Jonas 11-7, 11-5, 11-7 in their group B contest.

The most exciting match of the evening saw Mohryan Baksh and Ethan Jonas exchanging serves in a duel which was won by the latter 11-9, 9-11, 9-11, 12-10, 11-5 in their Category B bout.
