Pepsi Sonics upset Ravens in the first division while Eagles soared past Pacesetters in the second division when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association [GABA]/’Lets Bet Sports’ championship continued on Sunday.
The Mandela Avenue based Pepsi Sonics squeaked past Ravens 50-48. Jason Squires and Aubrey Austin top scored in the wins with 12 points each.
They were assisted by Ryan Melville, Earl O’Neil and Junior Lovell, scorers of eight, seven and six points respectively.
