GFF’s Elite League set to resume today

The Guyana Football Federation [GFF] Elite League will resume today at the Georgetown Football Club ground, Bourda with a solitary clash.

The match which is slated to commence at 19:00hrs, will pit defending champion Fruta Conquerors against newcomer Santos FC.

The match will serve as preparation for the Tucville based Conquerors unit ahead of their participation in the CONCACAF Club Shield in Curacao.

The tournament will continue on Friday at the Eve Leary ground. At 18:30hrs, Santos FC lock horns with Ann’s Grove, while home side Guyana Police Force [GPF] battles Fruta Conquerors from 20:30hrs.

 The event will resume on Saturday March 30th at the Mackenzie Sports Club [MSC] ground, Linden. The Guyana Defence Force [GDF] will oppose Milerock from 20:00hrs in the lone fixture.

 In the final two matches of the weekend [Sunday], which is slated to be held at the Den Amstel ground, Western Tigers will engage Victoria Kings at 14:00hrs, with Den Amstel battling Buxton United from 16:00hrs.
