Berbice leg of schools’ b/ball festival starts tomorrow

The regional conference of the National School Basketball Festival will officially commence tomorrow at the Vryman’s Ervin court in New Amsterdam, Berbice.

In the opening clash, home side Vryman’s Ervin Secondary will match skills with New Amsterdam Multilateral from 1pm. In the second matchup, Berbice High School will oppose New Amsterdam Technical Institute from 2pm.

The tournament will continue on Sunday at the Rose Hall Community Center ground. The opening match will witness Lower Corentyne locking horns with Port Mourant Training School from 1pm.

In the second fixture, JC Chandisingh will tackle Corentyne Comprehensive at 2pm. The tournament is coordinated by the Youth Basketball Guyana promotional group.
