Former Guyana Football Federation [GFF] President Christopher Matthias, proprietor of Federal Express Shipping, donated 21 balls to Tucville unit Fruta Conquerors to aid in their preparation for the CONCACAF Caribbean Shield Championship.
The donation was received by club secretary Daniel Thomas at a simple presentation ceremony held at the entity’s Church Street location.
Fruta Conquerors will be Guyana’s sole representative in the championship which is slated to commence on August 5th in Curacao. The balls will also be utilized for the club’s preparation in the impending NAMILCO U17 Football League.
