Roop Persaud, CEO of Ganesh Parts and General Store presented balls to the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) yesterday.
During a simple ceremony at the Robb Street entity, Persaud made the presentation of 44 BKT Tyre balls to President of the union, Peter Green.
Green thanked Persaud for the donation and pointed out that the balls will be “put to good use.”
Green added that the balls will be used at outreaches in Bartica, Essequibo, Linden, Berbice as well for training for the U-19.
“Balls will be spread out for the development of the sport,” said Green.
Meanwhile, Persaud, stated that his company recognizes its corporate responsibility while adding that he is proud to be associated with the rugby union and sports in general.
