Diplomats down TSC by four wickets

Diplomats recorded a thrilling win over the Transport Sports Club (TSC) in the latest round of the Noble House Seafoods second-division, two – day competition yesterday. The jubilant Diplomats unit recorded the four-wicket win at the Gandhi Youth Organisation ground.  

The TSC, who were dismissed for 131 on the stroke of play on opening day responding to Diplomat’s first innings score of 289-9 declared, were asked to follow on at the resumption of play on the second morning.  

They produced a much better second innings batting effort, posting 239 before being dismissed and earning a lead of 81 runs.
