Guyana’s swim team off to Barbados for Carifta Aquatic Championships

Guyana’s swimming contingent on Friday last departed these shores for Barbados to participate in the 2019 Carifta Aquatic Championships which started yesterday and ends Tuesday.

The team comprises six of the country’s top dippers including Leon Seaton Jr., Raekwon Noel and Nathan Jackson who are returning to the championships along with Aleka Persaud, Patrice Mahaica and Paul Mahaica who are set to make their debuts at the event. 

The talented bunch will be coached by Haresh Bhagwan with Jaime Skeete as his assistant.
