League leader Western Tigers and defending champion Fruta Conquerors continued their respective unbeaten runs when the GFF Elite League continued Thursday at the GFC ground, Bourda.
Western Tigers downed Ann’s Grove 2-0. Randolph Wagner recorded a double in the 59th and 92nd minute while Fruta Conquerors mauled Buxton United 5-1.
Gregory Richardson recorded a double in the fifth and 29th minute, with Nicholas MacArthur, Quincy Adams and Vurlon Mills scoring in the seventh, 54th and 70th minute respectively.
For the losers, Omari Glasgow netted in the 88th minute. The event resumes today at the Den Amstel ground with a doubleheader. At 14:00hrs, Santos will oppose Guyana Defence Force [GDF], with Den Amstel engaging Guyana Police Force [GPF] from 16:00hrs.
