Gold medal efforts by Claudrice McKoy, Chantoba Bright, Anisha Gibbons and Matthew Gordon highlighted Team Guyana’s performance at the CARIFTA Games which saw the local outfit earning a record 10 medals, four of them gold.
The brilliance of the quartet and others enabled Guyana’s 21-member team to depart from the Cayman Islands with the largest medal haul ever from the 48th edition of the annual Games which was staged during the Easter weekend.
