Trophy Stall support for Father’s Day dominoes competition

Trophy Stall became the latest entity to throw its support behind the Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire Father’s Day Domino Championships, donating the winner’s trophy yesterday during a simple presentation ceremony at the entity’s Bourda Market location.

The presentation was made to tournament coordinator Wiltshire by company staffer Tanda Crossman on behalf of proprietor and sports enthusiast Ramesh Sunich.

Wiltshire, in brief remarks thanked the company for their continuous support towards the development of sports. The event commences Sunday at the Turning Point Sports Club, Tucville.

Winner of the event will walk-away with $130,000, with the second and third place finishers pocketing $60,000 and $20,000 respectively along with hampers.

The Most Valuable player (MVP) of the finals will also be presented with a hamper. Entrance fee for the event is pegged at $10,000 per team, while the event will be held using the GNDA rules. Teams from the various environs are expected to be compete.
