Junior CASA: Boys in teams’ final, girls to play for bronze

Guyana’s boys’ team competing in the ongoing Caribbean Area Squash Association Junior Championship in Trinidad and Tobago, reached the final of the teams’ event while the female unit lost to Barbados in the semis and will compete for third.

 The boys in the semis, defeated the Cayman Islands 3-2 with Shomari Wiltshire, Mohyran Baksh and Samuel Ince-Carvalhal defeating Pierce Terry, David Hughes and Nathan Maclean respectively.

Daniel Islam and Michael Alphonso were the ones to drop matches for the Guyanese who will face Barbados in today’s final. 

The females, on the other hand, lost to Barbados in the semi-final and will face Bermuda in today’s’ third-place match.
