Resaul off to participate in two lawn tennis competitions

Aspiring professional lawn tennis player Vadeanand Resaul is using his summer vacation to develop his fledgling career by participating in two overseas tennis tournaments. 

The young man and his mother, Rohanie Resaul, yesterday departed Guyana for Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the COTECC Trinidad Summer Bowl 2019. 

They will then journey to Antigua where he will  match his skills against his junior Caribbean counterparts in the COTECC Wadadli Bowl 2019. 

The 13- year-old Marian Academy student, who has represented Guyana on a number of occasions revealed to Stabroek Sport that he has been working tirelessly and “expects to perform to the best of my ability.”

The trip is fully funded by his parents.
