LUCAS STOCK
The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) declined 0.23% during the first period of trading in August 2019. The stocks of five companies were traded, with 101,691 shares changing hands. There was one Climber and one Tumbler. The stocks of the Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) rose 0.01% on the sale of 200 shares. On the other hand, the stocks of the Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) declined 1.23% on the sale of 20,174 shares. In the meanwhile, the shares of Banks DIH (DIH), Republic Bank Limited (RBL) and the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry (BTI) remained unchanged on the sale of 69,079 shares, 12,186 shares, and 52 shares, respectively. The LSI closed at 585.25.
