Guyana has recorded its seventh novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) death.
A release from the Department of Public Information quotes Minister of Public Health Volda Lawrence as having confirmed that the death of the unidentified individual.
While the identity of the person is being withheld until after the family is notified, Stabroek News has learnt that the man was one of five persons who were in the Intensive Care Unit at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
