Eleven new COVID-19 cases

Eleven new COVID-19 cases have been recorded taking the total up to 150.

This was disclosed today by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Shamdeo Persaud.

Deaths remain at 11 while 67 persons have recovered. There are 72 active cases in isolation and two patients in the COVID-19 ICU. There are presently 11 persons in institutional quarantine.

The continuing rise in infections will call into question the effectiveness of the measures taken by the COVID-19 task force.
