Country records 31 new COVID-19 cases

Guyana yesterday recorded an additional 31 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 1,060. According to the Ministry of Health (MoH) dashboard, the 31 cases were identified from the 139 tests that were conducted yesterday.

It was also disclosed that there are 8 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 80 persons in institutional isolation, 387 on home isolation, 78 persons in institutional quarantine, and 31 deaths.

Of the total number of confirmed cases, 520 are males and 540 are females.
