Thirty-three new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded by the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,093.
This is according to the MoH COVID-19 dashboard.
The dashboard also showed that there are now 9 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 95 persons in institutional isolation, 424 persons in home isolation, and 71 persons in institutional quarantine. The number of persons tested in country to date is not available.
It was also revealed that 534 persons have recovered from the disease to date while the number of persons who died as a result of the disease remains at 31. According to the dashboard, 542 persons who contracted the disease are males and 551 are females.
