The Ministry of Health confirmed 62 more COVID-19 cases on Friday.
The new cases were revealed through the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard, which showed that the 62 new cases that were recorded increased the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4,724 since March 11.
The additional cases were recorded in six of the country’s ten administrative regions: 16 cases were recorded in Region One, 7 in Region Three, 30 in Region Four, 1 in Region Five, 6 in Region Eight and 2 in Region Ten. The additional cases were confirmed from 445 tests that were done, which increased the total number of persons tested in the country to 23,997.
There are currently 915 active cases in the country, 45 of which are in institutional isolation while 840 are at home isolation. Some 11 persons are currently in Intensive Care, while 43 persons are in institutional isolation.
Since the first case was confirmed here, 138 deaths have been recorded.
