Three new cases of COVID reported

Ninety-one more persons have recovered from COVID-19 and  just three new cases of the virus were recorded yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard, the three new cases that were recorded increased the total number in the country to 5,700. The new cases came after some 176 more persons were tested during the last cycle. 

One case each was recorded in Regions One, Four and Seven. As a result the total number of active cases now stands at 672, 34 of whom are in institutional isolation while the other 638 are in approved home isolation. There are four patients in the country’s COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit even as some 39 persons are quarantined at institutions.

Some 91 more persons have recovered from the virus increasing the country’s total recovered cases to 4,870.
