Two more die from COVID, 43 new cases recorded

Two new COVID-19 deaths were yesterday recorded in Guyana, increasing the number of fatalities to 158.

The Ministry of Health made this announcement through a press release.

The two new fatalities were identified as a 93-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman both from Region Four.

Meanwhile, 43 new COVID-19 cases were also recorded yesterday, this increase pushed Guyana’s total COVID-19 cases over the 6,000 mark and cases now stand at 6,016.  Seven persons are in the Intensive Care Unit.
