Trinidad man charged with murder, body still missing

(Trinidad Guardian) Kevon Matamoro, akaalso known as ‘Preacher’ of Pinto Road, Arima, has been charged with murder following the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.

The 35-year-old accused was charged for the murder of Francis De

Four, 46, aka ‘Brain’ who was last seen on December 17, 2020 and who was reported missing on December 11, 2020 to the Pinto Police Post.

De Four’s body has not been found.

Matamoro is scheduled to appear virtually at the Arima Magistrates’ Court today to answer the charge.

Mayaro man accused of having ammo

Steve Bridgemohan, 38, is expected to appear before a Mayaro today to answer charges of possession of ammunition.

A police release said on Friday officers of the Mayaro Criminal Investigations Department, Mayaro Task Force and Warrant Officers conducted an exercise in the Mayaro district, paying special attention to the Guayaguayare beach area.

During the exercise, several persons and their vehicles were searched.

The officers allegedly discovered 13 rounds of 12-guage cartridges on Bridgemohan.

Bridgemohan, of Penal Rock Road, Basse Terre, Moruga, was arrested and taken to the Mayaro Police

Station where he was charged by PC Verasammy.
