Recruiter seeking to fill 70 oil and gas positions

Buxo Guyana Incorporated (BGI) is seeking to prequalify persons from Guyana with relevant experience in offshore drilling activities, maritime service and administration to fill over 70 vacancies at the company.

BGI falls under the purview of parent company Buxo Trinidad and Tobago Limited (BTTL) and is a worldwide provider of turnkey energy solutions and maritime services. The company’s operations involve manpower, logistics, marine agency, construction, project management and maintenance work.

According to an advertisement in Stabroek News there are 72 vacancies for persons with relevant experience and who have a desire to seek training opportunities in offshore drilling activities and maritime services administration.

Persons will be trained according to job description. Job descriptions include, assistant driller, Derrickman, shaker hand, mechanic, driller, bolt torqueing technicians, customs clerk, shipping clerk, boarding clerk, executive assistant, accounts manager, AP and AR clerks, courier, It technician,  Electrician, crane operator, medic, storekeeper, offshore scaffolder, quayside supervisor,  administrative assistant, on and offshore project engineer, project coordinator, electrical infrastructure and equipment technician, truck driver, hiab operator, materials and logistics coordinator, warehouse manager, rigger, forklift operators among several others.
