Chinese COVID vaccines to arrive tomorrow

The Ministry of Health will be receiving a donation of 20,000 COVID-19 Sinopharm vaccines from the Government of the People’s Republic China tomorrow, at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport Corporation.

The vaccines will be arriving at 7:37pm, followed by the Signing of the Acceptance Certificate of vaccines, a release from the Ministry of Health said.

Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony will be signing for and on behalf of the Government of  Guyana, and Chen Xilai will be signing for and on behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China. Sophia Darlington will be representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation.
