Dear Editor,
Once again I wish to write as it relates to the video that has been circulating on social media. The one with THAT MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT calling a particular group of Guyanese mentally lazy. I wish to state that I am an Indo-Guyanese, my parents and their parents are all Indo-Guyanese and we are NOT mentally lazy. The fact that this Member of Parliament has not issued an apology simply means that she thinks it is ok! Well no, Editor, it is not ok! You cannot sit in an honorable house, proclaim to serve the people as is your job whether in government or the opposition and make such reckless statements! I am baffled as to how such a person who believed that they won the elections would make such a statement! When the public and the world at large still awaits to see one statement of poll from their party! Please Madam Member of Parliament – issue an apology or resign from the house!
