Just a week after a wanted bulletin was issued for him, Tito Browne was yesterday remanded by a Linden Magistrate for allegedly trafficking two Jamaican nationals and withholding their passports.

Browne, 44, also known as ‘Tommy’ and ‘Yankee,’ was yesterday brought before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.

He pleaded not guilty to two counts of human trafficking and two counts of withholding identification, to wit, passports.

The Guyana Police Force said the allegations against Browne are that he trafficked two women who have been identified to be Jamaican nationals and also withheld their passports.

He was remanded to prison until May 31, 2021.
