Man, 30, among four new COVID deaths

The Ministry of Health today said that as of May 30, 2021, four more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 389.

The latest deaths include a 30-year-old man from Region 9 who succumbed on May 29 and another man, 81, from Region 10 who passed away the same day. A woman, 83, from Region Four also passed away that day. Yesterday, a man,65, from Region Three also passed away.

The patients were admitted with COVID-19 like symptoms but died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical institutions. Samples were taken at the time of admission which subsequently returned positive tests.
