Unvaccinated persons seeking access to gov’t agencies will have to make appointment – ministry

From August 1st, members of the public who wish to visit a ministry or a government agency for a service will have to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or if they are not vaccinated they will have to make an appointment.

This is part of the updated pandemic guidelines gazetted as of yesterday’s date under the name of Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony.

The new guideline signals growing concerns about the possibility of the delta variant of COVID-19 being present here.

Under the heading Access to Services offered by a Ministry of Government Agency the guidelines say:

(1)    Subject to subparagraph (2), a member of the public who wishes to enter a Ministry of Government Agency to access a service shall be vaccinated.

(2)    Where a member of the public is unvaccinated, that person may only access the service in person by appointment.
